Milestone celebrations are in all families and I recently had a big one to celebrate - a 50th Birthday. Fiji has been on the 'hot list' for a while and our family decided to book the Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort in Savusavu.... and what a time it was.
Fiji is a highly desirable destination from Vancouver with a direct 11.5 hour flight to arrive ear
ly morning and start the tropical adventure. We opted to stay the first day and night at the Sofitel Resort on Denerau Island 30 minutes from the Nadi airport. A family friendly layout with a creative and large pool design and full service throughout. The next morning we boarded our Fiji Airways Link flight to the Northern island Vanua Levu with the Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort being the final destination.
The resort's location is special. The entire 'Fiji' feeling starts with the people and the genuine nature of their openess. The vibrant
Nature and tropical aromas soak in on arrival and we knew we were in the right place to have a family vacation of our dreams.
The resort was built initially to portray a traditional Fijian village with accommodation in individual Bures. It's an eco-resort and they're doing it right in all aspects of the resort with a luxurious touch. It's best said in their words:
Stay in a traditional Fijian bure, where local materials and handcrafted furnishings create an atmosphere of understated elegance, offering captivating ocean views and a taste of island life. Discover a sanctuary where luxury and environmental responsibility harmoniously coexist, crafting unforgettable experiences in paradise at one of the most renowned Fiji island resorts.

Four Seasons Resort Whistler is a beautiful property built to showcase the elements blended with top-level service.
When the thermometer officially reads 'blistering hot', an escape to Whistler to sit pool-side is a good idea. Our family loved the down time with relaxation, great food, and plenty of memories.
The summer at the resort is full of daily perks with an afternoon lemonade creation in the lobby, a slush station in the courtyard, and wine tasting at Braidwood. This year, guests can also have an electric bicycle for an hour free of charge and must be booked ahead of time.
When booking with a Four Seasons Preferred Partner, our clients receive:
